Opportunity Zones have emerged as a transformative economic development tool, providing a new incentive to place much-needed capital into distressed communities. They also offer investors opportunities to defer and/or reduce their tax liabilities. With the designation of Opportunity Zones and Treasury’s anticipated clarifying Resolutions, industry leaders will advise how to effectively navigate Opportunity Zones and use this tax incentive to spur investment in low-income areas.

This breakfast roundtable is highly relevant to fund managers, individual investors, advisors and real estate developers. It takes place on Monday, October 22, from 8:30-11:00am. Continental breakfast will be served.

Industry leaders will discuss best practices and policy approaches for Opportunity Zones and Opportunity Funds and the current state of play based on recent developments.

Moderated by Perry Teicher of law firm Orrick, Herington & Sutcliffe, LLP.
