Expert author and speaker Jeff Cohen is Director of Capital Markets Integration Head of Private Investment Initiatives.

The paper builds on a previous publication, SASB and Private Markets, to demonstrate how investors can leverage SASB Standards as a cornerstone in building a ESG strategy for private equity. The paper describes and demystifies the interconnected ESG ecosystem, offers practical insights for the various stages of the investment process through a GP lens. It includes case studies from Generation Investment Management and Partners Group.

About Our Speaker:

Jeff Cohen is the Director of Capital Markets Integration at SASB and the Head of Private Investments Initiatives. In his role, Mr. Cohen partners with institutional investors and asset owners, facilitating dialogue on financially material, industry-specific ESG topics.

Prior to joining SASB, Mr. Cohen was Head of Business Development at Sonen Capital, an ESG & Impact dedicated OCIO and fund manager. Mr. Cohen has spent his career working with sophisticated investors at organizations such as Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, and Gerson Lehrman Group.
